About this location
The Farm was a gay bar on Santa Monica Boulevard where the Gay Liberation Front staged a 1970 "Touch-In" to protest the criminalization of same-sex romantic affection. During the event GLF members hugged each other, and sheriffs arrived but retreated. Geri Bonillas remembers that it also held a women’s night on Wednesdays in a back room.
